Styling Black Ripped Jeans 3 Ways

Outfit inspiration is always necessary, it is for me at least. We know black ripped jeans are not new in trends but they do add that little class to any outfit. Everybody is a fan of this style and can live in distressed denim all day long. If you don’t own one, grab a pair of scissors and make one like mine. The one I picked was lying in my closet for over 3-4 years and I decided to experiment with it. Ripping your jeans is very easy there are many tutorials available on youtube you can check them out for a little inspiration. I love watching youtube for some outfit ideas, it helped me pick out some of my favorite outfits with black ripped jeans and I took that as an inspiration and created my own looks. Find Your Happy Place

Its Monday and its time for#MyLifeMonday post. Today I will be talking about “Finding Your Happy Place”.We do feel low sometimes, problems are a part of our life. We feel because we are alive but corpse they don’t have any problems just because they cannot feel anything. Each time you face a problem thank god that you are alive and fight against them. Few things in my life changed me and m still learning to be a better person. Bad things do teach us some good lessons so open up your heart for everything. Whenever I used to feel low I stayed on my bed for hours, weeping and thinking about those things which didn’t have any sense. It ever made me feel horrible about myself. I kept on thinking about how those bad things are have ruined my life, instead of working on it. Thinking about past problems make it difficult for us to recover from that pain. I would say that few good books do helped me move on in my life and m really glad that I started reading and journalling.

Ok now talking about “Finding your happy place”,on my journey of finding a happy place, I tried to feel comfortable and happy at many places. It surely is hard to find one where you can let your pain and anger out, a place where you can be true to your emotions and think about next step towards your future. During the rainy season when it was getting little cold I liked staying on my bed near window side so that I could feel sun rays coming on my face. That warmth gave me everything, a book in my hand and a cup of coffee in the other were like best friends to me. I liked that place but I could not still count it as MY HAPPY PLACE because it was actually not that PLACE. One day while taking few pictures on my terrace I started walking up the stairs which lead me to another portion of my terrace. I went up and sat there with my legs hanging down I could see mountains, lake, buildings, greenery, birds chirping, vehicles moving the complete outside world from there. I was I search for this kind of place from where I could feel connected to nature and god. I could feel that sudden peace in my heart by sitting there and watching all those things happening actually made me feel overwhelmed. I named that place as my happy place finally.

Every day at 5P.M I go upstairs and sit at that place with my coffee, chai or green tea in one hand and novel or journal in other. Sitting there I write about my emotions to feel and stay inspired, I share my words with god. Tell him about my goals, things I want in my life and things I m grateful for. I seek strength from him. Writing helps me express myself in a better way. The things I have gone through and how I recovered from them I write in my journal about everything, it holds my life completely. With this post, I wanted to tell you how my happy place changed my life and why is it necessary for us to find one. We all need that alone or me time sometimes and this kind of place can actually help anyone through that phase of life. Daily I spent 1-hour sitting there, writing , reading and journalling. If I m feeling low about sometimes I write it down it actually, helps to forget that thing and move ahead in life. With this place I have fought aginst many hard times, it feels so good to have a place like this where you can calmly think about your life and proceed further. The sleek knot is currently in trend now, I know from intricate twists to messy loops to sleek chignons there are so many kinds of buns and updos to suit every personality. All you need is a little dry shampoo and pulling it up. Twist your ponytail and wrap it around like a bun and secure it with bobby pins, add little hairspray at the end. With your hair up you can even show off your ombre hair color it will look amazing with this hairstyle.

The sleek ponytail went into retirement when hairstylist turned to a messy, more relaxed style. So skip the sleek ponytail this season and switch to more casual and a high messy ponytail. Don’t worry you will still be able to show off your bold makeup. Tease your hair at the end for getting a more voluminous ponytail.

Fishtail Side Braid
Coming on braids the best thing about them is there are so many ways to wear them. I like creating a messy fishtail braid for my go-to hairstyle. get creative and try this hairstyle adding your own twist to it. Everybody need a little change so skip that boring 3-strand braid for once. This braid may look complicated but it’s surprisingly easy to make. Rather than diving into 3 partitions you only need to separate your hair into two then start layering a piece from each section over one another from the other side and that’s it.

DIY Cinnamon Fragrance Candle

As you may have seen on my Instagram page I m currently obsessed with cinnamon coffee, cinnamon chai latte, and the list goes on. I also have this soft spot for Fragrance candles these days and what could be better than a Cinnamon Candle. God I never knew cinnamon would taste soo good when I first tried it. You guys may be thinking  I m insane, having cinnamon in everything around me but it’s fall and m getting all that cinnamon craving now. It’s Thursday and m posting a new post under #TheDiyThursday section. It’s all about DIY as m seeing candles everywhere as it’s cold and chilly now, instead of buying one I decided to make my own and that too with my favorite fall Fragrance CINNAMON. A little mixing, melting, pouring and there will be your own Fragrance Candle. We all know they are simple to make and don’t need much time. You only need to have patience while your wax is melting and when you’re waiting for it to cool down once you have poured it. Handmade candles are surprisingly customizable, there are many fragrance oil and colorants to choose from. Decorate your jar the way you like that’s completely optional. You can also use this quick, simple, and lovely handmade candle as a gift to give this holiday season. I love DIYs because they are cheap oooh yeah!! With that being said let’s get straight to the post.

Things you will need:

  • Candle Wax (your choice)
  • Appropriate size and type Candlewick
  • Crayons/Colorants
  • Essential oil/Fragrance oil(i made mine)
  • Glass Jars
  • Hot glue gun
  • Pencil(to hold your candle wick)
  • Saucepan and a glass bowl (big enough to sit over the pot)

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Heat water in a saucepan.
  2. Measure out your wax flakes. You need to have 2times a number of wax flakes than your jars’ ounces(i have used normal candle wax).
  3. Take a glass bowl and place it over the saucepan.
  4. Let the wax melt.(never leave melting wax unattended)
  5. Turn the stove to a low to medium heat.
  6. Test the consistency of the wax. When it melts allow it to cool a bit.
  7. Take the wax off the stove
  8. Add colorants to your candle.
  9. Add the essential oil now. (add colorants and oil as much as required)
  10. Secure your wick to the bottom of your jar using hot glue and hold it in place until it dries. Make sure it stands upright. (tie extra wick on pencil and place it on jar to hold wick in place)
  11. Pour your wax into a jar and allow it to cool.
  12. When your wax has cooled completely trim your wick to about 1/2”.
  13. And there you will have a lovely cinnamon fragrance candle.

Out of all kinds of beverage I love green tea the most. I m not addicted to caffeine as much as m addicted to green tea. Today under #TriedNewTuesday section I m going to post about “3 Favorite Fall Green Tea Flavours”. Being so obsessed with green teas lately, I got my hands on 3 flavors of Twining Green Tea London. I m so in love with this green tea that I can never ever get enough of its flavors. In our grocery stores it hard to find more fall inspired tea flavors so I had to manage with whatever I had. The only option I had was to pick any out of Twining’s section.

All these flavors are so calming and soothing that I feel totally relaxed with a sip of it. I have been drinking green teas from last 3 years. First, I started it seeing others but now I m addicted to it I cannot imagine my life without it seriously. I need 3 cups of green tea a day and it was not like this before, I started with one and now m at three. It was my this year’s goal into 3 cups of green tea any how. When I started drinking it I used to have it with sugar as I was not able to drink it without it I mean it tasted so horrible. I can understand it was also my first time so. For 1 and a half year, I continued drinking it with sugar but later I cut on my sugar intake completely (only for green teas).

Now that would be a long story on how I got into this green tea thing but I actually feel good that m addicted to green tea more than caffeine. Green tea is like a best friend to me on cold chilly fall days. You only need a cup of hot water with your favorite flavor of green tea in it and you’re good to go. I like to have my green tea with my breakfast, during my “Me Time” evenings at my happy place and just before m about sleep.

This post is gonna be very small because I only wanted to share about my 3 favorite Green Tea Flavors for this fall and I have mentioned them above. Twining Of London has become 1 of my favorite green tea brands I love all of their flavors. They are calming, soothing and tastes so good. You need to try their collection because it’s worth it and I know you will love it.

I Deny to Hide

“Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth.”

With a cup of coffee in my hand, I wanted to start this post with a positivity quote because that’s what I m feeling right now POSITIVE. This post is my second post under #MylifeMonday section and I would say that it is the second part of my older post “Have Been Hidden For Long. Many of you must have read that post but for those who have not, I want to give a short intro about that post. Earlier I shared about a kind of skin infection I m facing and how I m feeling about it. I know many of you must have felt, her problem is not that big there are too many big issues going around the world but this is huge for me and it’s important too because I was being eaten by depression and sadness every day and I have been hidden for a long time because of it but now “I Deny To Hide”.

I like to share my feeling with you guys because it makes me feel confident and stronger. Earlier I didn’t like sharing my feeling with others but now as I m working on it I feel much better. It really feels good when you step out of your comfort zone push depression and anxiety aside and show the world the real you. It feels amazing guys believe me. I have now decided not to hide anymore and this became possible when I developed positive thinking attitude. I would write another post on “How I Became A Positive Thinker”. When I was suffering from this problem I did not talk to anyone about it but started reading good books, watched some inspiration YouTubers and I released that there is no need of hiding because I know I m beautiful and even after all this I will stay beautiful all I need is to start believing in myself and I will get ok soon. I have an account on Instagram and I post pictures of myself but I used to crop my face because of that skin infection. Peeling and dry skin, cracked and black lips were making me look awful so I decided to post pictures without my face and I kept on doing this, hid the real me from the world. Sooner I realized there is no point of doing so I want to be a blogger and youtuber and if I will keep on doing this to myself how will I conquer my dreams and goals. Every morning I started reading few positivity quotes, a book and also started praying to god at least for 5-10 minutes. I used to share my fears and feeling with him and he started helping me guiding me and making me stronger. I could feel a different kind of spark and glow on my face whenever I used to look at my reflection in the mirror. The only thing I used to say was “Wow I m looking so beautiful and different”. All this happened because I started believing in god, I was broken so I gave myself to him to do whatever he wanted to do with me and you know what he created a new me, a happy me and a beautiful me.

Later I started taking complete pictures of myself and I could not believe I was looking so beautiful that I could not stop myself from taking some. Still, I m not allowed to wear any makeup but m taking pictures without it due to my confidence in myself. Sometimes I apply little lipstick but wipe it soon after my photo session. I do feel that I look beautiful without any makeup. I have written this post only to help girls like me out there to feel and stay beautiful the way they are. We may not be beautiful for someone but we should always be beautiful for ourselves and that’s what matters the most. If you ever felt like this what would you do? Would love to hear from you guys. Fall Day & Night Outfit Ideas

DIY Fall Inspired Journal

Journaling was an all new experience for me. It made more confident and a positive person. With journaling, I became more peaceful and calmer. I was a person who loved keeping her things and thoughts to herself and approached towards everything with negativity. This all have happened just because I was shy or uncomfortable with others company. But when things changed I changed with it. Journaling has made me a completely different person now. I started journaling 4-5 months ago and I find a sense of peace sharing my feelings and thoughts with my journal. It made me love myself even more. I got so involved in this journaling thing that I maintained my :

Into it and that’s why it got over and I was thinking of buying a new one but as I like making things on my own and it’s fall time now I decided to make a Fall Inspired Journal. So without wasting any more time lets get started.

Things You Will Need:
A Spiral Notebook
A pair of Scissors
Glue
Printouts of Fall Inspired Images
White or Black Craft Paper
Alphabet Stickers
Binder Clips(medium size)

Steps To Make:

  1. Take the spiral out of the notebook.
  2. Cut out the images separately(i took all fall inspires images, you can take anything you like)
  3. With the help of glue stick each one as you like on your notebook.
  4. Let it dry for few minutes.
  5. I took this leaf picture to paste at the center, you can also use plain white sheet.
  6. Now using black pen write JOURNAL in any font of your choice.
  7. Now measure the spiral area you want to cover using black or white craft paper.
  8. Using a good quality glue stick wrap the black craft paper at the spiral area and use binder clips to keep it in place.
  9. Now put the spiral string back.
  10. Place the notebook between heavy books, this will help you keep everything in place until it dries.
  11. Now using alphabet stickers stick words of your choice, I decided to go with FALL and COZY(place them anywhere anyway you like)
  12. That it and your DIY FALL INSPIRED JOURNAL is ready.

5 Fall Skin Care Routine Essentials

Our skin is as soft and gentle as a flower petal and we need to be very careful while choosing products for our skin care regime. As Fall has almost arrived I thought of changing my skincare products. During fall the days grow shorter , temperature drops, the air becomes drier and our skin may lose its precious moisture. Fall is a transition time and a proper skin care routine will sort all the summer skin damages prevailing making your skin winter ready. Fall calls for more heavy, thick and oil based moisturizing products so be careful while picking up you skincare essentials. My 5 Fall Skin Care Routine Essentials are mentioned below.

Right Cleanser : Cleanser helps remove extra makeup residues and dirt so massage your face gently with an alcohol-free cleanser for 4-5 minutes. As I m still under a skin treatment I m only allowed to use products prescribed by my dermatologist. I m not using any artificial cleanser, in fact, I use honey for cleansing my face. Honey is a natural anti-bacterial and it works best against acne. It’s full of ani-oxidants that slow down our aging process. It’s extremely moisturizing and soothing giving your skin extra bounce and glow.

Ditch Soapy Face Wash: fragrant soapy face wash may make you feel wonderful on a hot summer day but they may leave your skin dry during winters. So ditch these soapy face wash and cleanse your face thoroughly with a creamy cleanser type. Splash your face with lukewarm water to open up the pores, then (don’t forget to wash your hands before using them on your face) take a small amount of creamy face wash rub it between your palm to make bubbles for 2-3 minutes ,now gently massage on your face for 3-4 minutes to remove all the impurities. Rinse with cold water at the end to close open pores. I m using EPISOFT face cleanser as a facewash. It’s amazing and I can totally see the difference on my skin. My face is acne and marks free now.

Oil Based Exfoliater: Start your new season with a full body exfoliation. An oil based scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your face same time. It’s very necessary to exfoliate your face and body during winter to remove all the summer dead skin. It’s hard for me to find a good oil based exfoliator instead I like using my NIVEA skin refining scrub with few drops of coconut oil. Believe me, it works the same.

Perfect Toner: Choose a right toner for you skin type. If your skin becomes extra dry during fall choose oil based toner. Take a small amount toner on a cotton pad and apply it in upper direction to keep your skin tight and glowy. I like using THE BODY SHOP aloe calming toner. It so calming and soothing, and aloe vera keeps your skin fresh and hydrated.

Heavy Moisturizing Face Cream: As the air becomes drier our face and body needs heavy moisturization. A thick moisturizing cream act as a strong oil barrier which means it reduce water loss on the outer skin layer providing hydration to this layer. Moisturize your face within 3 minutes after applying toner. Use a sunscreen with rich moisture and SPF. I m using ACROFY sebum control face cream. The color and texture of my skin have completely changed. I can see the glowy and dewy skin that was lost somewhere.

Lip Protection: last but the most important use a good chapstick to hydrate and moisturize your lips during fall. Like you face your lips need heavy moisturization too. Use a good chapstick with long lasting effect and good SPF.

EXTRA TIPS:

  1. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day. I know it’s hard during fall but you need to get into a habit now.
  2. Use healthy face packs and store them in a refrigerator after use.
  3. Get minimum 8 hours sleep.
  4. Exfoliate twice a week.
  5. Use a humidifier.
  6. Change to an oil based moisturizer.
  7. Protect your lips in and out( At home and under sunlight)
  8. Add little amount of coconut oil to your exfoliator.

Sun, humidity, warm air, chlorine, and salt water have had a huge impact on your skin during summer and therefore we all need fall miniaturization and exfoliation.
